# shopmap vs Note Widget +

The clearest difference is rating: shopmap at 5.0 against Note Widget +'s 4.4. shopmap also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Note Widget +'s advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 66 months) and ratings volume (438 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. shopmap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Note Widget + sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

shopmap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note Widget + has 438 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of shopmap's written reviews are positive against 78% of Note Widget +'s.

shopmap ships an update every 66 months, Note Widget + monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
