# Virginian Pilot vs Daily Progress

Virginian Pilot and Daily Progress both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 42% of Daily Progress's written reviews are positive against 30% of Virginian Pilot's. Daily Progress also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Virginian Pilot's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 288) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virginian Pilot sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Daily Progress sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $27.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Virginian Pilot against 4.3 for Daily Progress. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virginian Pilot has 2.3K ratings behind it against 288, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of Virginian Pilot's written reviews are positive against 42% of Daily Progress's.

Virginian Pilot ships an update monthly, Daily Progress every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
