# The Mirror vs Daily Express Newspaper

The clearest difference is monetization model: The Mirror at free with in-app purchases against Daily Express Newspaper's subscription. The Mirror also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 24) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Daily Express Newspaper's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Mirror sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Daily Express Newspaper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Mirror holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Mirror has 1.5K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of The Mirror's written reviews are positive against 35% of Daily Express Newspaper's.

The Mirror ships an update monthly, Daily Express Newspaper every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
