# Sinbad vs Defense Battle

The clearest difference is rating: Sinbad at 4.3 against Defense Battle's 3.1. Sinbad also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (161 vs 8). Defense Battle's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (67% vs 56%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sinbad sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Defense Battle sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sinbad holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sinbad has 161 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Sinbad's written reviews are positive against 67% of Defense Battle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sinbad ships an update every 2 months, Defense Battle monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
