# Calendar Widget & Planner vs Countdown!

The clearest difference is rating: Calendar Widget & Planner at 4.6 against Countdown!'s 4.0. Calendar Widget & Planner also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.6). Countdown!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendar Widget & Planner sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Countdown! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calendar Widget & Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendar Widget & Planner has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Calendar Widget & Planner's written reviews are positive against 92% of Countdown!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
