# FileCrane vs SP7

The clearest difference is update cadence: SP7 at every 3 weeks against FileCrane's every 7 months. FileCrane's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FileCrane sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SP7 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FileCrane ships an update every 7 months, SP7 every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
