# Masoutis vs Pengu

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pengu at 43% against Masoutis's 0%. Masoutis's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Masoutis holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Masoutis's written reviews are positive against 43% of Pengu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Masoutis ships an update fortnightly, Pengu every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
