# Weber® Grills vs GrillTimer

The clearest difference is rating: Weber® Grills at 4.8 against GrillTimer's 1.0. Weber® Grills also leads on ratings volume (9.5K vs 1). GrillTimer's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 35%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weber® Grills holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weber® Grills has 9.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Weber® Grills's written reviews are positive against 63% of GrillTimer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weber® Grills ships an update monthly, GrillTimer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
