# UAE MOFA vs skurtt

The clearest difference is rating: skurtt at 4.4 against UAE MOFA's 3.6. skurtt also leads on ratings volume (300 vs 16). UAE MOFA's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

skurtt holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: skurtt has 300 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of UAE MOFA's written reviews are positive against 60% of skurtt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UAE MOFA ships an update every 11 days, skurtt every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
