# Microsoft Copilot vs HyNote

Microsoft Copilot and HyNote both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of HyNote's written reviews are positive against 28% of Microsoft Copilot's. HyNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). Microsoft Copilot's advantage is ratings volume (1.4M vs 7.7K) and chart position (#13 vs #113). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Copilot sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and HyNote sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Microsoft Copilot against 4.8 for HyNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Copilot has 1.4M ratings behind it against 7.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of Microsoft Copilot's written reviews are positive against 77% of HyNote's.

Microsoft Copilot ships an update every 6 days, HyNote weekly. Both last shipped on November 8, 2026.
