# Visual Countdown Timer vs Time Duration Calculator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Visual Countdown Timer at 80% against Time Duration Calculator's 33%. Visual Countdown Timer also leads on ratings volume (40K vs 1). Time Duration Calculator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Visual Countdown Timer sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Time Duration Calculator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time Duration Calculator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visual Countdown Timer has 40K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Visual Countdown Timer's written reviews are positive against 33% of Time Duration Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
