# RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD vs CuriosityStream

The clearest difference is price: CuriosityStream at Free against RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD's $15.99. CuriosityStream also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (6.3K vs 31). RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (6.1 vs 15.1). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

CuriosityStream is free to download; RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD costs $15.99 up front. RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and CuriosityStream sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CuriosityStream holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CuriosityStream has 6.3K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD's written reviews are positive against 31% of CuriosityStream's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RemoteFlight COCKPIT HD ships an update every 3 months, CuriosityStream monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
