# RentCafe Resident vs Instachew Infinity

RentCafe Resident and Instachew Infinity both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of RentCafe Resident's written reviews are positive against 45% of Instachew Infinity's. RentCafe Resident also leads on ratings volume (1M vs 1) and chart position (#81 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Instachew Infinity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RentCafe Resident has 1M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of RentCafe Resident's written reviews are positive against 45% of Instachew Infinity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RentCafe Resident ships an update every 3 weeks, Instachew Infinity every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
