# NED Comic vs Manga UP!

The clearest difference is ads: NED Comic at none against Manga UP!'s shown. NED Comic also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Manga UP!'s advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NED Comic sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Manga UP! sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NED Comic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Manga UP! has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NED Comic ships an update every 8 months, Manga UP! monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
