# NED Comic vs GlobalComix

The clearest difference is update cadence: GlobalComix at every 9 days against NED Comic's every 8 months. GlobalComix also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 1) and chart position (#23 vs unranked). NED Comic's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NED Comic sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and GlobalComix sells 29 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NED Comic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlobalComix has 4.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NED Comic ships an update every 8 months, GlobalComix every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
