# FTP Sprite vs 鲸阅图

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 鲸阅图 at none against FTP Sprite's 1. 鲸阅图 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FTP Sprite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 鲸阅图 asks for nothing beyond the download.

FTP Sprite ships an update every 4 months, 鲸阅图 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
