# BAND vs ADE Summit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ADE Summit at none against BAND's 10. ADE Summit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). BAND's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (73K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BAND sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. ADE Summit asks for nothing beyond the download.

ADE Summit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BAND has 73K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BAND ships an update weekly, ADE Summit every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
