# BAND vs WorksApp

The clearest difference is rating: BAND at 4.7 against WorksApp's 1.0. BAND also leads on ratings volume (74K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). WorksApp's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BAND sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. WorksApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

BAND holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BAND has 74K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of BAND's written reviews are positive against 75% of WorksApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BAND ships an update weekly, WorksApp monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
