# Withings vs Sentinare Activity Sensor

The clearest difference is rating: Withings at 4.6 against Sentinare Activity Sensor's 3.0. Withings also leads on ratings volume (367K vs 2) and chart position (#68 vs unranked). Sentinare Activity Sensor's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Withings sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Sentinare Activity Sensor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Withings holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Withings has 367K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Withings's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sentinare Activity Sensor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Withings ships an update fortnightly, Sentinare Activity Sensor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
