# Withings vs Alyf Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alyf Connect at 100% against Withings's 24%. Alyf Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Withings's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (368K vs 5). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Withings sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Alyf Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Withings holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Withings has 368K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Withings's written reviews are positive against 100% of Alyf Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
