# Bote vs Elgger

The clearest difference is update cadence: Elgger at every 3 months against Bote's every 8 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bote sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Elgger sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
