# Tigrinya Bible vs Sinksar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sinksar at none against Tigrinya Bible's 13. Sinksar also leads on ads (none vs shown). Tigrinya Bible's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 75%) and ratings volume (350 vs 41). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tigrinya Bible sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Sinksar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sinksar holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tigrinya Bible has 350 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Tigrinya Bible's written reviews are positive against 75% of Sinksar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
