# SetMyCamera Pro vs Seestar

The clearest difference is price: Seestar at Free against SetMyCamera Pro's $9.99. Seestar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (352 vs 38). SetMyCamera Pro's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Seestar is free to download; SetMyCamera Pro costs $9.99 up front. SetMyCamera Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.29 per 3 months. Seestar asks for nothing beyond the download.

SetMyCamera Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seestar has 352 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of SetMyCamera Pro's written reviews are positive against 62% of Seestar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SetMyCamera Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Seestar monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
