# SetMyCamera Pro vs ProCam

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ProCam at 35K against SetMyCamera Pro's 38. ProCam also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#30 vs #193). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

SetMyCamera Pro costs $9.99 and ProCam $9.99 up front. SetMyCamera Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.29 per 3 months and ProCam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for SetMyCamera Pro against 4.6 for ProCam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProCam has 35K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of SetMyCamera Pro's written reviews are positive against 64% of ProCam's.

SetMyCamera Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, ProCam every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
