# SetMyCamera Pro vs Lumy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lumy at every 3 days against SetMyCamera Pro's every 3 weeks. Lumy also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 38). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

SetMyCamera Pro costs $9.99 and Lumy $7.99 up front. SetMyCamera Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.29 per 3 months and Lumy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lumy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lumy has 2.4K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of SetMyCamera Pro's written reviews are positive against 79% of Lumy's.

SetMyCamera Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Lumy every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
