# iShaver PRO vs Binky

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Binky at 88% against iShaver PRO's 26%. Binky also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.9) and ratings volume (104 vs 16). iShaver PRO's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iShaver PRO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Binky sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Binky holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Binky has 104 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 26% of iShaver PRO's written reviews are positive against 88% of Binky's.

iShaver PRO ships an update every 3 months, Binky every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
