# Brackelope vs Bracket Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brackelope at 55% against Bracket Maker's 0%. Brackelope also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 17.2). Bracket Maker's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.6) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brackelope sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bracket Maker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bracket Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 84 and 84 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Brackelope's written reviews are positive against 0% of Bracket Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brackelope ships an update every 3 months, Bracket Maker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
