# PC Games vs StE

The clearest difference is update cadence: PC Games at every 6 months against StE's every 17 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PC Games sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per 3 months and StE sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
