# Bütton View vs TickTick

The clearest difference is update cadence: TickTick at weekly against Bütton View's every 2 months. TickTick also leads on ratings volume (47K vs 5) and review sentiment (91% vs 68%). Bütton View's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bütton View sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and TickTick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TickTick holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TickTick has 47K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Bütton View's written reviews are positive against 91% of TickTick's.

Bütton View ships an update every 2 months, TickTick weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
