# Buggy vs Speed Intense Island

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Speed Intense Island at 100% against Buggy's 44%. Speed Intense Island also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 11 months). Buggy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Buggy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Buggy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Speed Intense Island's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Buggy ships an update every 11 months, Speed Intense Island every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
