# GPGuide vs Formula 2026

The clearest difference is monetization model: Formula 2026 at free with in-app purchases against GPGuide's subscription. Formula 2026 also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). GPGuide's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (65% vs 46%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPGuide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Formula 2026 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Formula 2026 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 42 and 96 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of GPGuide's written reviews are positive against 46% of Formula 2026's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPGuide ships an update every 2 weeks, Formula 2026 monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
