# Weather & Radar vs Aarestation

The clearest difference is ads: Aarestation at none against Weather & Radar's shown. Weather & Radar's advantage is chart position (#16 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weather & Radar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Aarestation sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weather & Radar ships an update fortnightly, Aarestation every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
