# Earthmovers vs Location Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Earthmovers at 100% against Location Tracker's 50%. Earthmovers also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). Location Tracker's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (407 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Earthmovers sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Location Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Earthmovers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Location Tracker has 407 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Earthmovers's written reviews are positive against 50% of Location Tracker's.

Earthmovers ships an update every 16 months, Location Tracker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
