# Quizlet vs Multiple Choice

The clearest difference is rating: Quizlet at 4.8 against Multiple Choice's 3.7. Quizlet also leads on ratings volume (1.1M vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Multiple Choice's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quizlet sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Multiple Choice asks for nothing beyond the download.

Quizlet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quizlet has 1.1M ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Quizlet's written reviews are positive against 100% of Multiple Choice's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Quizlet ships an update weekly, Multiple Choice monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
