# RangeCamera vs Scale For Grams

The clearest difference is rating: Scale For Grams at 4.5 against RangeCamera's 2.0. Scale For Grams also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 41 months) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 4). RangeCamera's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Scale For Grams holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scale For Grams has 3.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
