# Voice Record Pro vs Stereo Microphone

The clearest difference is price: Voice Record Pro at Free against Stereo Microphone's $2.99. Voice Record Pro also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 9) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Stereo Microphone's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Voice Record Pro is free to download; Stereo Microphone costs $2.99 up front. Voice Record Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Stereo Microphone asks for nothing beyond the download.

Voice Record Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Record Pro has 16K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Voice Record Pro's written reviews are positive against 85% of Stereo Microphone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Voice Record Pro ships an update every 2 months, Stereo Microphone every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
