# Measuring Tape vs Shooting Range Shot Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Measuring Tape at 4.0 against Shooting Range Shot Timer's 1.7. Measuring Tape also leads on price ($1.99 vs $6.99) and ratings volume (400 vs 7). Shooting Range Shot Timer's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 12%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Measuring Tape costs $1.99 and Shooting Range Shot Timer $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Measuring Tape holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Measuring Tape has 400 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Measuring Tape's written reviews are positive against 50% of Shooting Range Shot Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
