# MoviePro vs Twings

The clearest difference is rating: Twings at 5.0 against MoviePro's 4.4. MoviePro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoviePro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Twings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Twings holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MoviePro has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of MoviePro's written reviews are positive against 50% of Twings's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MoviePro ships an update every 2 weeks, Twings every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
