# MoviePro vs Telepromptr

The clearest difference is rating: Telepromptr at 4.6 against MoviePro's 4.4. MoviePro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and review sentiment (64% vs 54%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoviePro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Telepromptr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Telepromptr holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.8K and 1.4K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of MoviePro's written reviews are positive against 54% of Telepromptr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MoviePro ships an update every 2 weeks, Telepromptr monthly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
