# MoviePro vs Pause Camera

MoviePro and Pause Camera both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 64% of MoviePro's written reviews are positive against 30% of Pause Camera's. MoviePro also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 199). Pause Camera's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoviePro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Pause Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for MoviePro against 4.3 for Pause Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MoviePro has 1.8K ratings behind it against 199, so its average is the more settled of the two.
