# electric imp vs Oasis Control

The clearest difference is rating: Oasis Control at 4.4 against electric imp's 3.0. Oasis Control also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). electric imp's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 37%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Oasis Control holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oasis Control has 3.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of electric imp's written reviews are positive against 37% of Oasis Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

electric imp ships an update every 2 months, Oasis Control fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
