# Morpholio Trace vs DraftIt

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Morpholio Trace at 11K against DraftIt's 15. DraftIt's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Morpholio Trace sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and DraftIt sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Morpholio Trace against 4.6 for DraftIt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morpholio Trace has 11K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Morpholio Trace's written reviews are positive against 75% of DraftIt's.

Morpholio Trace ships an update every 2 weeks, DraftIt every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
