# Outside Lands 2026 vs Distributed Fire

The clearest difference is rating: Distributed Fire at 3.6 against Outside Lands 2026's 2.8. Outside Lands 2026's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 25%) and ratings volume (100 vs 20). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Distributed Fire holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outside Lands 2026 has 100 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Outside Lands 2026's written reviews are positive against 25% of Distributed Fire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Outside Lands 2026 ships an update every 2 months, Distributed Fire every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
