# Rover vs BringFido

Rover and BringFido both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of BringFido's written reviews are positive against 35% of Rover's. Rover's advantage is ratings volume (516K vs 47K) and chart position (#77 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Rover against 4.9 for BringFido. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rover has 516K ratings behind it against 47K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 35% of Rover's written reviews are positive against 85% of BringFido's.

Rover ships an update every 2 weeks, BringFido every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
