# Learn Chinese vs Infinite Chinese

The clearest difference is ads: Learn Chinese at none against Infinite Chinese's shown. Learn Chinese also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 154). Infinite Chinese's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Chinese sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Infinite Chinese sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Infinite Chinese holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Chinese has 1.2K ratings behind it against 154, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Learn Chinese's written reviews are positive against 79% of Infinite Chinese's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn Chinese ships an update every 2 weeks, Infinite Chinese every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
