# WSMV 4 vs UC Now

The clearest difference is rating: WSMV 4 at 4.5 against UC Now's 3.6. WSMV 4 also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (7K vs 5). UC Now's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 15%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WSMV 4 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WSMV 4 has 7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of WSMV 4's written reviews are positive against 50% of UC Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WSMV 4 ships an update every 5 weeks, UC Now every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
