# WeatherMax+ vs WeatherCast Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: WeatherCast Pro at every 3 days against WeatherMax+'s every 3 weeks. WeatherCast Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeatherMax+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and WeatherCast Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeatherMax+ ships an update every 3 weeks, WeatherCast Pro every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
