# ZARA vs Tillys

The clearest difference is ads: ZARA at none against Tillys's shown. ZARA also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (413K vs 3.3K). Tillys's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ZARA against 4.8 for Tillys. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZARA has 413K ratings behind it against 3.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of ZARA's written reviews are positive against 38% of Tillys's.

ZARA ships an update every 3 days, Tillys every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
