# Random Generator vs TouchGO

Random Generator and TouchGO both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TouchGO's written reviews are positive against 83% of Random Generator's. Random Generator's advantage is ratings volume (60 vs 7). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random Generator sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TouchGO sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Random Generator against 4.4 for TouchGO. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random Generator has 60 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Random Generator's written reviews are positive against 100% of TouchGO's.

Random Generator ships an update every 3 weeks, TouchGO monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
