# Ready Set Vacation! Countdown vs Vacation Countdown®

The clearest difference is ads: Vacation Countdown® at none against Ready Set Vacation! Countdown's shown. Vacation Countdown® also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Ready Set Vacation! Countdown's advantage is ratings volume (123 vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ready Set Vacation! Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vacation Countdown® sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Ready Set Vacation! Countdown against 4.8 for Vacation Countdown®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ready Set Vacation! Countdown has 123 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of Ready Set Vacation! Countdown's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vacation Countdown®'s.

Ready Set Vacation! Countdown ships an update every 3 weeks, Vacation Countdown® every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
